Below is the official theatrical poster for '50 Kisses.' The designer did a fantastic job incorporating the hundreds of hard working people involved in this international project. Needless to say this poster is the wallpaper on all my devices.

If you're unfamiliar with the concept of '50 Kisses' then you need to click here. In a nutshell, it's an international film project that was conceived by the London Screenwriters' Festival back in 2012. The goal back then was to have 50 short, two-page scripts written, then produced and edited together to make a single feature-length film. I'm proud to say that the feature film is done, and I am fortunate enough to have my short film script 'Red Light' be a part of it.
'50 Kisses' is premiering at the Genesis Cinema on Thursday, February 13th. I'm proud to say that I will be making the trip from Canada for this red carpet event that's sure to be a night I'll remember for years to come. I will get to meet many other writers and filmmakers, and hopefully share some pints with the production team that transformed my script into a produced short film. I'm really looking forward to it. I will be doing my best to keep blogging while I'm there, but I won't lie, this will be my first time to Europe and the first half of my trip is completely pleasure based, while the second half will focus on business. Either way, I'm going to be seeing my name appear in the credits on the big screen, something I've wanted to experience for a very long time. In case you live under a rock, this weekend is Super Bowl weekend. And if you were on the Internet at all this past week, it would have been nearly impossible to bypass some-sort-of reminder that this Sunday, February 2nd is in fact game day.
If you're not a fan of NFL football, I'll forgive you for not caring. For the millions of you who are (and I would count myself as one of them) then you've waited for this day since this season kicked off back in September. What's not to like about the Super Bowl? Even if you're not a fan, there's the commercials and the halftime show to keep you entertained. I'm not a huge Bruno Mars fan, but him and the Red Hot Chili Peppers should put on a good show in New Jersey. I once again will be playing host to at least 10 NFL football crazed fans. We start the day nice and early, usually three hours before kickoff, and gamble. From there we do more gambling, fill our bellies with all sorts of scale crushing foods, then more gambling, and finally game time. I should mention that during the game there's also gambling going on; like who'll win the coin toss, will the coin land on heads or tails, and any other bogus props we can come up with through out the game. All in all it's a great day. And when it's all said and done, there's always one of us who's happier than most. And this person usually isn't happy because of who won the game, but rather because he's made off with all our hard earned money. My Super Bowl prediction: Seattle over Denver 27-24. Enjoy the game! |
